This is Rift Nations: Savvy Smelting! This update is part 3 of a 3-part update changing how the crafting and progression system works in Rift Nations. This update includes the final major crafting changes, reworks the smooth blocksets, adds Sandstone Bricks, improves Armor Stands, and much more!

🪨 BLOCK CUTTING

• Oak, Birch, and Spruce Wood Walls can now be obtained by block cutting the matching log or wood.

• Polished Sandstone can now be obtained by block cutting Sandstone.

• Polished Red Sandstone can now be obtained by block cutting Red Sandstone.

• Polished Quartz can now be obtained by block cutting Quartz Blocks.

• Stone Bricks can now be obtained by block cutting Polished Stone.

• Sandstone Bricks can now be obtained by block cutting Polished Sandstone.

• Red Sandstone Bricks can now be obtained by block cutting Polished Red Sandstone.

• All types of Glass and Glass Panes can now be re-dyed using any color of Glass or Glass Pane.

• Grouped Terracotta Bricks in the recipe book for organization.

• Honeycomb Blocks can now be crafted back into Honeycomb.

• Nether Bricks now craft in 4's instead of 1.

• Red Nether Bricks now craft in 2's instead of 1.

• Dried Ghasts can now be crafted with Soul Soil instead of Soul Sand.

• Mycelium is now craftable with Grass Blocks and Mushrooms.

• Podzol is now craftable with Grass Blocks and Coarse Dirt.

• Bushes are now craftable with Short Grass.

• Polished Sandstone is now crafted with Sandstone in a 2x2 formation.

🪖 ARMOR STANDS

• Upgraded the look of the Armor Stand, with it now having arms by default and simulating a wooden player.

• Armor Stands can now be posed by Shift + Right Clicking the front base of the Armor Stand, poses will be locked if the armor stand is moved and will have to be replaced to change it again.

• Armor Stands are no longer crafted with Smooth Stone Slabs and are instead crafted with an Oak Log.

• Mini Armor Stands and the ability to remove the arms is planned but not yet implemented.

✨ VISUAL/AUDIO

• The Rift is now more HD to prevent pixelated blurring.

• Added Chiseled Sandstone Bricks, available by using a double slab of Sandstone Bricks.

• Added Chiseled Red Sandstone Bricks, available by using a double slab of Red Sandstone Bricks.

• Changed texture of Pale Oak Logs to match Oak Logs.

• Changed texture of Creaking Heart to match Pale Oak Logs.

• Changed texture of Brick item.

• Changed texture of Nether Brick item.

🏗️ FIXES

• Fixed a bug with hoes and the Supercharged Hoe not accurately mining hoe-efficient blocks faster.

⛔ REMOVED

• End Crystals are no longer craftable due to containing Rift Shards in their recipe.

• Removed Deep Dark Pickaxe from the files.
