This is Rift Nations: Brass & Binding! This update is part 2 of a 3-part update changing how the crafting and progression system works in Rift Nations. This update includes an introduction to the Brass Age and the most amount of crafting and stonecutting changes ever introduced in a Rift Nations update!

🎮 GAMEPLAY CHANGES

• Blazes now drop Glowstone Dust, a previous Minecraft feature from Legacy Console Edition.

• Glowstone Dust now has a chance to drop from piglin bartering.

• Pistons and Sticky Pistons can now be mined faster using an axe.

🪨 BLOCK CUTTING

• Renamed Stonecutter to Block Cutter.

• All logs and wood can now be used in a block cutter to make crafting tables, buttons, doors, fences, fence gates, planks, pressure plates, signs, slabs, stairs, trapdoors, wood, stripped logs, and stripped wood.

• All planks can now be used in a block cutter to make buttons, stairs, slabs, and trapdoors.

• All types of coral and coral fans can be crafted in a block cutter using coral blocks.

• Mangrove logs and wood can now be turned into Mangrove Roots in a block cutter.

• Bamboo Planks can now be turned directly into Bamboo Mosaic and vice versa in a block cutter and in crafting.

• Soul Sand can now be turned directly into Soul Soil and vice versa in a block cutter and in crafting.

• Prismarine can now be turned directly into Prismarine Brick variants in a block cutter.

• Stone can now be turned into Stone Buttons in a block cutter.

• Blackstone and Polished Blackstone can now be turned into Polished Blackstone Buttons in a block cutter.

🎨 DYES

• Concrete can now be re-dyed using any color of concrete.

• Concrete Powder can now be re-dyed using any color of concrete powder.

• Crimson Fungus can now be crafted into Red Dye.

• Red Mushrooms can now be crafted into Red Dye.

• Resin Clumps can now be crafted into Orange Dye.

• Kelp can now be crafted into Lime Dye.

• Cactus now directly crafts into Green Dye.

• Sea Pickles now directly craft into Green Dye.

• Warped Fungus can now be crafted into Cyan Dye.

• Glow Ink Sacs can now be crafted into Light Blue Dye.

• Amethyst Shards can now be crafted into Purple Dye.

• Peonies now give Purple Dye instead of Pink Dye.

• Spore Blossoms can now be crafted into Pink Dye.

• Brown Mushrooms can now be crafted into Brown Dye.

• Pitcher Pods can now be crafted into Brown Dye.

• Quartz can now be crafted into White Dye.

• Flint can now be crafted into Gray Dye.

• Gunpowder can now be crafted into Gray Dye.

🔨 CRAFTING

• All stairs now craft in 6's instead of 4's.

• All fences now craft in 4's instead of 3's, excluding Nether Brick Fence.

• All fence gates now craft in 2's instead of 1.

• All coral blocks and dead coral blocks are now craftable in a 2x2 of coral or a 3x3 of coral fans.

• All types of coral and coral fans can be crafted using coral blocks by selecting it in the recipe book.

• Granite is now crafted in 4's using Diorite and Quartz.

• Diorite is now crafted in 4's instead of 2's using Cobblestone and Quartz.

• Andesite is now crafted with 2 Diorite and 2 Cobblestone instead of 1, giving 4 instead of 2.

• Blackstone is now renewable by using coal/charcoal and Basalt.

• Polished Blackstone is now craftable using coal/charcoal and Polished Basalt.

• Prismarine is now crafted in 4's instead of 1.

• Prismarine Bricks are now equivalent to Prismarine and are crafted in a 2x2 of Prismarine similar to other brick blocks.

• Dark Prismarine is now crafted with Black Dye and Prismarine.

• Hanging Moss can now be crafted using Moss Blocks.

• Slime Blocks can now be crafted with a Honey Block and lime/green dye.

• Sponges can now be crafted with a Slime Block and Pufferfish.

• Soul Sand is now craftable using any sand and a Ghast Tear.

• Soul Soil is now craftable in a 2x2 formation of Soul Sand.

🔥 BRASS AGE

• Added Brass Ingots, Brass Blocks, Brass Slabs, Brass Stairs, and Brass Pillars.

• Brass Ingots can be crafted by combining Iron Ingots and Copper Ingots.

• Blocks of Brass can be crafted in a 3x3 of Brass Ingots.

• Brass Pillars can be crafted using Brass Blocks or in a block cutter.

• Added Chiseled Brass, available by stacking two brass slabs.

• Brass Blocks can be used in a block cutter to get pillar and stair/slab variants.

• Redstone Lamps can now be crafted with Brass Ingots and Redstone instead of Glowstone and Redstone.

• Note Blocks and Jukeboxes are now crafted with Brass Ingots instead of planks.

✨ VISUAL/AUDIO

• Re-added Allium Dust (Flower Dust) from Rift Nations: Ascension.

• Changed and renamed Pale Hanging Moss into Hanging Moss, allowing it to be used outside of Pale Gardens. Hanging Moss will still look visually like Pale Hanging Moss inside Pale Gardens.

• Changed texture of Prismarine Bricks to match other large brick variants.

• Changed texture of Nether Bricks to match regular bricks.

• Changed texture of Red Nether Bricks to match regular bricks.

• Changed texture of Note Blocks and Jukeboxes to match their crafting recipe.

• Oak Wood Walls, Spruce Wood Walls, and Birch Wood Walls now make wood sounds.

• All types of wooden crates now make wood sounds.

• Iron Crates now make iron sounds.

• Netherite Crates now make netherite sounds.

• Terracotta Bricks now make stone sounds to match colored terracotta bricks.

🏗️ FIXES

• Fixed Vanilla Tweaks "Cauldron Concrete" not working, allowing you to throw Concrete Powder into a water cauldron for it to instantly turn into Concrete.

• Fixed a bug with Vanilla Tweaks "More Mob Heads" where sheep would always drop "jeb_ Sheep Head".

⛔ REMOVED

• Removed Resin Bricks, Resin Brick Slabs, and Resin Brick Stairs.

• Removed Cracked Nether Bricks and Chiseled Nether Bricks.

• Removed the recipe for Spire Armor Trims due to being unobtainable.

• You can no longer smelt Cactus to get Green Dye.

• You can no longer smelt Sea Pickles to get Lime Dye.
